Current TV Shows

This section covers the modern Sci-Fi and Fantasy TV series which can be seen on UK terrestrial TV and is considered to be 'Current'. Generally this means that new episodes have yet to be transmitted in the UK, but there are exceptions to this. Dr-Who is considered current since we still live in hope of a new series, and the Star Trek Menu includes the original Star Trek series and The Next Generation which are no longer Being made....

Since many of the programmes are somewhat behind Satellite showings a strict spoiler policy is enforced, for the major programes seperate discussion files are provided for Terrestrial, Satellite and Insider info ;-).

Star Trekking - The Star Trekking section provides several subsections to try and cover the whole Star Trek Universe. Surfers who are interested in Star Trek should follow this link to The Mother of All Star Trek Sites.

Babylon 5 - Quite possibly the Best Sci-Fi series running at the moment, and a possible contender for the best TV series ever. If you agree or disagree then you can discuss it here or just talk about the latest episode you've seen (although spoilers in the wrong file are likely to result in death threats). The X-Files - The most popular of all the shows in the section, X-Files has crossed over to the mainstream like no other Sci-Fi series before. Check out the Official X-File Website.
Dr Who - The Oldest of our selection but possibly the most innovative, We want Another Series! But if you think that's unlikely then there's still plenty to see Out Of Time
Red Dwarf - Probably not the most serious Sci-Fi series, but certainly the funniest (at least Intentionally) most info seems to be available at Lestat's Red Dwarf Page.
The New Adventures Of Superman - Is This Sci-Fi? Who cares It's a great show and deserves a little corner of its own on Mono
Dark Skies - THis has just started showing recently, opinions about it are mixed, but that's what discussion is all about. You might want to check out The Official NBC Dark Skies Page.
Space: Above & Beyond - It looks like the first season of this will also be its last, a bit of a shame because I enjoy this attempt at 'Top Gun in Space'. Enjoy it while it lasts and check out S:A&B Mission Status

Sliders - Like Quantum Leap in Probability space, or something like that..
Neverwhere - Quirky Fantasy series written by Neil Gaiman, just give us another series, OK?
